The Tylers do a good job dismantling the U.S. media hype.
U.S. “energy independence” remains a pipe dream and “fake news”.
The U.S. is *by far* a net energy importer, and will most likely remain a net energy importer for the foreseeable future. Even more so when the rapid decline rates of shale oil really start to kick in. The best tight oil wells are already drilled, and it looks downhill from here for “sustainable” shale oil production.
